    am i the only one who isnt arsed *no pun intended* about the quality of bog roll. £6 for bog roll is a joke when its gonna be getting flushed down the toilet!

    tesco have the 18 pack of triple velvet ( i think as i glanced quickly at them yesterday at the entrance) for £5

    The best loo rolls I have found, both for cost-effectiveness AND softness are those by a company called Nicki and are sold at Farmfoods. They come in packs of 9 for £2 (so at £4 for 18 that's beating even the andrex offer). They are softer than any own brand loo roll and as a fussy sensitive person that I am, I'd wholeheartedly recommend that you try them (they also do 4 for £1).

    somerfield have 2 X 9 andrex for £6 at the mo!

    All good offers but still not as cheap,clean or convient as a bidet or if space is insufficient, try a toilet spray (shower head with trigger on a mixer) with or without soap, from any good plumber :A

    If you have a cess pit, tesco value are the devil as they dont break apart very well and hubby is needed to open the cover and get dirty unbllocking the pipes!

    I agree v good value as are a few other items in farmfoods (or chips n gravy as we call it due to some of the 'strange' frozen food items them sell - although they also sell branded items)
