Mayonnaise in sachets?

I want to buy some of those little sachets of mayonnaise.
My DH doesn't eat it so when I buy a jar, some goes in the bin as I couldn't eat a whole jar in a month.
But I do like a bit now and then.
I wonder where I'd get them from?

why do you only keep it a month? I'm using sauces which are near 4 months old.0 -
Not appropriate because the volume's too much, but this was fun to watch: http://foodwishes.blogspot.com/2007/07/homemade-mayonnaise-recipe-video-big.html0

I too definately have jars lurking in my fridge which are older than a month . Never had a problem using them up over a longer period, not too long though!
Also (although I would never recommend this or do it myself), you could always have a couple of sachets fall into your bag when at a pub. I would guess that Makro probably sell them in quite a large volume which probably wont' be any good on the dates either.
Now proud Mumto3 :j0 -
Hi Barneysmum! I pick them up at our local Wetherspoons. I'll go in on a Saturday, have a baked potato from their value meal range (£2.99), or a cup of tea (99p - which, incidentally, if you have your collectors card stamped each time, the 6th cup is free) and discretely grab a couple. I take the view that I've purchased something from them, so I'll have a few! They are very handy for camping, or when you just don't want to buy a full jar of mayonnaise, or ketchup.0
