Have to admit that I won a £5 voucher off them and treated it as no win. They have just opened a shop in Camberley and I am totally boycotting them.

Don't be disheartened hun, cosmic karma (and comping karma too). Seems to me you won £25 to spend on their site and that should be exactly what you are allowed to do. I'd follow the above advice and send an email to the ombudsman, if you don't ask and all that ;) good luck in all you do hun :)

And PeachyJem, thanks for the comps hun :D:D:D don't let this put you off, you just posted it your not responsible for it ;)

Thats not on, a £25.00 winning voucher should let you spend up to £25.00 including p & p free, . Its deff not good publicity for the company.

I won a £5 voucher too and ignored it too.

I wonder if Espirit is aware of the commercial influence that MSE actually has? Not the best place for bad publicity eh?

I won a £25 voucher with Esprit that expired 30/04/09
I decided upon a pretty purple top for work for £24.99 - a week later I notice I have an email to say the order was cancelled as my credit card was declined.

I contacted them to say it shouldn't matter as nothing needed to be taken from my my card as the voucher covered the order cost only to receive a reply to say that vouchers can only be used if you spend more than the value of the voucher!
Now this might have been fair enough if it was stated in the winning email but it wasn't!

I feel like they are just getting out of giving me my prize :(

Am gutted as I was feeling like giving up anyway after a very very dry spell whereby entering over 1000 comps only got me 5 wins and then I lose a win as well!:(

5 wins? id be over the moon with one!!

I'm not meaning to sound ungrateful - but to comp for 3 hours a night and entering around 1000 comps that end in April I was hoping to get more wins to be honest.
I only won 5 prizes for all of the work I put in, one of which was broke, one of which was this win.... so really I only got 3 prizes (and one of those was bingo so not even sure if that counts! lol) Just a little disappointed when I put so much effort into it that's all.

With regards to this prize I might have expected this if I had won a £5 voucher but not for a £25 voucher whereby the winning email does not even mention this condition!
I am glad my credit card was declined as that would have been £25 charged to my card that I can't afford to pay!!! Every penny I make is going towards paying off our wedding!

But we will wait and see what their response to my email is....
