Challenging camera calibration

I have been accused of speeding recently. But I feel they were in the wrong. I've heard you can challenge the camera calibration. It was a speeding van which I understand have to be calibrated on a daily basis.
How do I go about challenging it for calibration?
Thanks

Hi. I thought you could only challenge this at the hearing where they will have the calibration certificates/evidence present?0

Calibration is annual and there should be a certifcate. Daily check is an alignment check and is something quite different, you will need to get what is known as the 'full session video' to fight on that, that is a tough fight..0

Due to our wonderful legal system, you will not get to see any of this evidence unless to opt not to pay the fixed penalty, and choose to contest the matter in court. For that, you will need an iron will, deep pockets, limitless patience, and a willingness to spend hours studying traffic law and case reports. For the last of these, start with the forums at http://www.pepipoo.com
