Firstplus...FOS

After having no joy from firstplus or norton finance each blaming the other I have now sent my complaint to the FOS who sent me a reply saying they have recieved my complaint.....will look into it but they have a lot of complaints at the mo so cant give me a time scale and will deal with as soon as they can.....
How long do you think before i get another letter saying what is happening ?

Unfortunately due to the volumes in these actual complaints, its a job to say, but if in any way your in any financial hardship, let the FOS know in order for them to consider moving this on quicker for you.
If you do this enclose any proof like letters you may have received, (in copies), also a copy of a bank statement.

However, as soon as it has been moved on it can take approx 6 weeks thereafter and depending if this gets complexed or not.
Hopefully it will resolve at first stages.;)

I have also got a loan with FP and have send the first letter to them and they replied saying Loans.co.uk supplied the PPI in both cases which is rubbish, they have until the 20th May which is the 8 wks allowed before I go back to the FOS (I went the wrong way round and went to the FOS first so they asked me to deal with the company and if not still satisfied to re-contact them :rolleyes:)

I have written back to them and told them that they supplied the 2nd loan so am still waiting for their reply.

The PPI I had with my first loan they just added it to the second one so its alot more than it should be if I have to go back to the FOS I will but find it quite time consuming so am hoping it is going to be worth it - I know the saying all good things come to those who wait so I am hoping !

well i may have to ring FOS as Lee has just been made redundant this morning.
