I am just digging this up again as I have another problem and need some advice.I have sent the girl in the downstairs flat a bill for buildings insurance and ground rent and she hasn't even acknowledged it let alone paid it!(She is being difficult as the previous freeholder who didn't often live in the upper maisonette(us)allowed her to store things in the hall of his flat and we asked her to move them).She has had the bill for 3 months so I am assuming she is deliberately not paying it What do I do now?0

How about sending her a reminder giving 7 days to pay & if no response perhaps send her a letter with a threat of taking legal advice as she is contravening the terms of her lease?
