Flight from Londont to Aalborg Denmark

Hi, i booked a ticket with Norwegian Air to travel from London to Aaloborg Denmark on the 16th July for £52 one day with taxes and bags. I was meant to fly out at 7.30pm and now recieved an email today saying it will be an hour later i was just wondering if anyone can find me an earlier flight on the 16th July for similar price/cheaper.

Many thanks

Ryanair has an excellent service to Aarhus Tirstrup from Stansted at 0730 for just £10 including taxes on 16 July at the moment (that's with online checkin and a 10kg bag in the cabin, and I think it's just £5 more if you book online checkin but with one more bag* at 15kg) :money:, or is that too far away?

Depends where exactly you have to get to and by what time, but STN-AAR is such a reliable service and Tirstrup airport so straightforward to go through that you could easily be in a hire car by 1015 local time with only 130km or so cross country drive to Aalborg, or 150km if you prefer no-brain motorways. Either way you could be in Aalborg itself by midday local which is probably on a par with your existing changed flight?

If you rely on public transport then it would be a bit more complicated of course as Aalborg is north-north-west of Aarhus Tirstrup airport and the main airport bus goes south. There is however a 212 service at 1032 which goes to Randers.

Of course, if your final destination is well north or west of Aalborg then if you haven't already, then disregard all I say!

*PS I have never tried online checkin but with one or more bags in the hold - is that what those funny Ryanair checkin terminal pod thingies are for in the departure lounge? What do you do with your checkin bag after you've pressed all the buttons on the pod?
