Time limit on reclaims - hardship claim

Hi all ! Am new to all this and not sure what I'm doing!!!! Am not sure of time limit on reclaiming bank charges from Halifax- am about to do it today so am I right in thinking I can only claim back to 6 may 2003? Also, had to leave work etc and oly husband working can I claim under hardship if claiming carers allowance for disabled children?

Most banks are looking at paying out on Priority debt arrears(council/mortgage, utilities, council tax).0 -
