Ok, I'll start this one off today.
I'm going off later to get a spray tan ready for the wedding this weekend so that'll be £12.
But thats all.

Hi dinkylou,
I am not planning to spend anything today - this will be my fourth no spend day since Sunday - yay! I am hoping for 5 or 6 no spend days this week!
Hope the spray tan goes well.
scottishspendaholic xMBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
Bank of Scotland = £2,782.830 -
I've got a parcel to post later on today, but the buyers already covered the postage on that.
So fingers crossed, after my £90 vet bill yesterday, I should be on for a no-spend!Highest Debt (Sept 04) -> £41,300

£2.49 buying a McDonald's breakfast. But it was a celebration because my girlfriend and I are getting back together and I hadn't eaten properly for 3 days (or taken much care of my finances, but I'm going to sort that out again later on- I know I've overspent, but I should be able to tighten it back up.)Debt Free Nerd #3100

Today's been a real disaster and it's only 10am.
Woke up and had one of those 'oh s**t' moments. Monthly travelcard ran out at the end of yesterday and I didn't renew it last night because I didn't take my normal route home. Didn't have any money in my purse as I'd promised myself that I wouldn't take any out until Fri this week. Ran around the flat to see if I could scrape together enough to get on the bus. Eventually found 50p under the sofa but needed £1.50. So, off to the Coop to get some cash out of the machine. Then had to buy something from the shop as the bus driver won't take notes. Then......it got worse.
Had a text from a friend to say that the tube station was shut. So, had to take the bus to the overground instead. Just one tiny problem: you can't buy monthly travelcard topups at overground stations. I had to buy a single ticket into town as well as the bus fare. Finally managed to top up my travelcard in town. Spending breakdown:
£1.38 in Coop
£1.50 on bus
£2.40 on train
£99 for monthly travelcard.
Spent £5.28 unnecessarily just because I forgot to renew the card last night. Not going to do that again in a hurry!0 -
Spent £1.39 on soup which will be for today & tomorrow's lunch..
Might need to get some groceries tonight, but aside from that, nothing else!!
Payday has changed again, so we DO get paid a week on Tuesday (had been put back to a week tomorrow) - its all physcological really, but I feel I can manage on less with payday being just over a week away..
Need to send some ebay items & also waiting for some to arrive.
Mum saw some Birkenstocks in TK Maxx for £20 - so she is going to go back again today to see if they are still there and then get me a pair. Even on ebay they are £27!!!!!
(bit hyper today as I was in gym at 7am - 4th time this week - whoooo!!).

Morning,
Going food shopping tonight as all I have in the fridge is jam & milk! Shopping for stuff to last until 22nd (end of my "month" for monthly challenge), & looking at what I've spent so far will be way under budget. :j
Have a nice day everyone.
