Word Template Problem

Can anyone help please? I have obviously pressed keys which give lines on my blank Word template (like a school exercise book) - they don't print out by the way. I have no idea what I have done or how to get rid of it, having tried lots of things. They are visible on documents sent to me too.

If it is a template problem you can just deleate the current Normal.dot template (or rename it OldNormal.dot) and word will create a new one for you.
Its located in user/application data/microsoft/templates0
