Help!
I have had two loans with Blackhorse, both were mis-sold (NO PPI=NO LOAN) but like everyone else was desperate!!
I was hoping to be able to reclaim the mis-sold PPI on these loans but after searching these forums the chance seems slim as loans were taken out pre 2005.
The first loan was taken out in 2002 and paid off by taking out a further loan in 2003.
The 2003 loan will end this year 2009.
Any Help / Suggestions would be gratefully received to try to reclaim this robbed money!!!!!!!!!
This is what I found via forums…….
(Your claim for compensation is dependent on when you took the insurance. PPI sales only came under the jurisdiction of the FSA in January 2005. Any sales made before then are not covered by the latest rules.
However, it may still be worth complaining to your lender if you feel you have been mis-sold. If you bought before January 2005 it is likely that they will have been covered by a previous regime of rules. This means that the Financial Ombudsman Service will be able to consider these complaints. )
Thanks!!

Before the FSA they were regulated by the FLA, believe me they are a waste of time. The financial ombudsman has put pressure on to some banking groups to stop turning away complaints, one being Lloyds Tsb, maybe Blackhorse have been told aswell. so try the letters first & if you get no refund, then there are free services around to use solicitors.
hope this helps.0
