Hi,
A&L told me in January that they'd repay me £2K but I still haven't recieved a penny despite several phonecalls requesting payment!
They just keep saying they have a backlog. Strange how they managed to get my loan payments re-calculated & take the first payment within 14 days!
Any ideas on how to get them to pay up?
Thanks

Hi Wendy1
I have also posted on the other thread about this, but not to worry.;)
I think because this is one of those companies sending out the questionaires for customers who had loans with them over the last few years, this is one of those things holding them back.
I'm not surprised they have a back-log if this is the case, it would not be too bad if they had one section dealing with the complaints and the other on the refunds, not unless they do it this way I do not know.
However, my brother in law was sent a questionaire, but sent back by a reclaim letter with the questionaire not completed, just to cover his ground, with the questions that were already asked on the questionaire, as he already had insurance with his job being a Manager, but was told this was part of the finance at the time of taking this out.
He has been waiting for his refund since Dec 2008, and have been in touch with them almost every week to be told the same thing of the back log.
He is now thinking of taking further action on this.
I can understand how frustrating this is, its your money and it belongs in your pocket, there should be penalties for every week that goes by, where they should pay extra for this, if they brought this out, maybe the payments would be paid out far more quicker.
Good luck and hope you receive your money real soon.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
