P60 shows no previous employment figures...

I've just received my P60 for 08/09 tax year and it only shows my figures for current employment, it shows no figures for past employment.
In a nutshell - I worked at my old job until the end of Sept 2008, got made redundant, gave P45 to JobCentre, started new job 3rd November, gave JobCentre P45 to new employer. I have been on tax code 603L-M1 since starting my new job and this changed to 647L with the new tax year.
Do you think I might have underpaid tax at all, or do you think it will be fine as I have been on non-cumulative basis until now? I tried ringing the tax office and the woman told me I won't have underpaid, however this woman also told me that I should have been given three P60 forms in the same tax year......
Thanks for any advice!!!

In my opinion I think you could have overpaid if anything. As you were on 603L M1 code that essentially means you werent given the personal allowance of £116 (approx) you were allowed to earn each week before you are taxed. Personally I would photocopy all your P45's and P60 for 08/09, send the orginals to your local tax office with a cover letter explaining you think you might have paid too much tax and list the jobs you did and the dates and hopefully you should receive a cheque through the door! Worst thing that can happen is they send them back saying youve paid the right amount!0
