First Direct - Online Savings Account

Hi

I am new to this and looking for some advice..

I am sure like many of you I have seen my savings interest diminish over the last few months.. I have savings over £10k but have seen the interest paid on these peak at around £50 a month to the latest interest paid of £2.50!!!!

What I am looking for is some advice on where I can move my money around to and gain the best rates of interest? I realise it is a tricky time at the moment for savings but I am sure if I shop around I can get better interest than £2.50 a month! :)

I have an ISA with the Halifax that is 1/3 of its capacity but am open to suggestions.

Any advice gratefully received..

Many thanks
