It is extremely sore the first few times (especially the underarms:eek::eek:) but it becomes pain free after a few uses and you only end up having to use it about once a week anyway. Plus it saves you a fortune in razors and blades:D
Thanks, I'm very red & bumpy now! Hopefully it will work for me as I'm fed up of shaving! The Braun Silk-Epil is gettin very high ratings in magazines etcI'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!:mad:0 -
Would you recommend the epilatar in that link? I have decided I'm missing out not having one!;)
I'd definitely recommend the philips one, the ice pack is great for the first few uses as it does help with the pain although tbh i've never used it since then as its pretty much pain free now. If you're in no rush for one though then i'd hold on for a better offer as i've seen it quite a few different times at half price.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
Well I have just watched some of the voting on The ESC, and decided to do my Ped-Egging, and finish with a generous dollop of the Deeply Intensive Moisturiser - and it's lovely!
Especially as it only "cost" me 34p in Boots-Logic! :j I'm going Bootsing with the BV on Monday, who is awash with Binnies, and she has arranged an Emergency Outing on Thursday, so that she can see if the new vouchers are Blessings!
What would peeps like them to be? I'd be really pleased if they were £5 off any Boots product (Yes, I know! Not much chance, but I can dream! :A) and a GWP that has a 500 points voucher, when you buy anything, nestling inside! So looking forward to the Blessings!

The redness and bumps will settle down, bu they're definitely more prominent the first few times you use it. I find moisturising straight afterwards helps as my skin always feels really dry after epilating. The braun one you got looks great, i love the fact its waterproof and you can use it in the bath as i'm sure that would help a lot with the pain:D:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

No , unfortunately I haven't. The only thing 'gorgeuos feet' I have been managing to get on reduced SEL is the 'flip-flop' plasters. I have bought quite a few of those , even though I can't stand wearing flip flops!!. The things we do for Boots
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it0 -

Yeah, I am using the gorgeous feet stuff at the moment, worked out free with the No7 voucher. I've done the same as you, ped egged and then used the foot cream. Thing is I do it before bed and slather on the foot cream really thickly, but I cant wear socks to bed, only chanel No5 for me darling.
I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like youwould like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing
