Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 54 - Post your finds here

Hi Strawberryberry
there are sometimes glitches on the meal deals which is another reason people buy them too.
Look out for bogof on drinks, as you get both for the price of the meal deal.
Ocassionally people have found chocolate goes through on the meal deal, like the mini bag of chocolate eggs, the large bags of maltesers.
Although I think they sussed this one as there is now a sticker saying items must be under a certain price to qualify for the meal deal.
HTH
And I think Boots are trying to stop you going to M&S (where the meal deal is £2) because the other day I had the agonising choice between little cocktail sausages & ketchup (which I had not seen before) as my snack or cashew nuts! Have also seen olives in the past. (You will gather that I don't have a sweet tooth and cakes don't make me nearly as excited...)0 -

We went to Aintree and managed to get a good range of reductions on the KOS, Fcuk, Time Delay, and Hackett and some other things off the clearance. I was doing an exchange so I incorporated my shopping into the exchange, so I ended up paying approx £2.50 in total for loads of mens stuff.
We also went to another Boots after that and bought even more of the same ranges (But different products) In total I spent approx £8 and gained almost £17 in pts. Thanks to buying Georgous Feet (reduced of course) and some other H&B vouchers and double pts etc.
Thanks again for letting us know, it was a great post for me, and particularly well timed.:T:T:T
when I go to aintree there's never anything there worthwhile buying, I seem to miss all the bargains:rolleyes:I luv freebies0 -

Southport worked no problem at all ( upstairs on photo till)- have done the gorgeous ones twice there now. only problem I have had was at Central 12 it beeped on the 200 points ACM for the photo albums but got the manager to override it and add them manually. RE Aintree, I have had very few bargains there, but yesterday was just a lucky day I think;) I do think you have to go in on a daily basis to Boots as the bargains change all the time and some branches reduce further before others
POLLSDOLLS - so glad you managed to get to Aintree and got some bargains:D nice to know when a post helps someone;)
off to Liverpool city centre today so will report back later - luckily OH loves bargains as much as me so have got him well trained to scour the SELS!0 -

Should definitely work on a SS till. Be warned that some SA's can be complete nightmares. Generally they are OK, but if they start reading the voucher, lights out! Also, are people printing them out in black and white or in colour? I tried black and white ones last week, and the SA had a right big kerfuffle. But if you do get to use them, it's a treat at the moment as most of the KOS items are now just a bit more or just a little less than £1.00, so technically free. And the "anti bacterial scrub" is good! Works for me.
hi mimi:D mine are black & white. SA took 8 off me yesterday:jI've always used the black white ones and never had a problem with them:)0 -

Just nipped to Boots (Hillsborough, Sheffield) and the SA's were examining a huge roll of reduced SEL's that they apparently had to start putting out. It must have been 10ft long!! Unfortunately I couldn't get close enough to sneak a peek, but heard them mentioning some 'great bargains' & that something (?what) was being re-packaged so current stock was to be reduced.
....hopefully it will be nationwide (whatever it is!!)0 -

I used black and white ones today all worked fine :j.
Beware though if using them on SS tills as there's a limit to 2 coupons I think. I would been better going to a till as I had to get a SA to authorise them as I have 5 to go through, then miscaluculated it came to £4.92 and if it had came to £5 would have got a skincare voucher.
ETA it would have helped if I hadn't been in at 8.45 when the store was empty as well though!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0
