Mimi-sorry to hear that, my thoughts are with you and your Dad.:(

I have had a fab Bootsing day today in 2 different stores.

I found a basket with reduced time delay items in, not sure if they where meant for the public but hey ho, I took a 'daily brightening cleansing balm' that was stickered at £1.74 and an 'anti-aging gentle glycolic peel kit' that was priced at £3.91, not sure what the original prices where, when the sa scanned them they came out at 74p, so she did it again to make sure it had been entered correctly:rolleyes: it did the same again, so paid with points, so I scooted back downstairs and got the rest of them and 2 photo globes which where on BOGOF, and went to the SS tills, receipt looked like

    photo globe 3.99
    photo globe 0.00
    td d brit cln balm 1.74, saving £1 now 74p X 3
    td St M/D rep pack 1.95, saving 1.95 now 0.00 X 3
td St Aa glyc kit £.99 savin g 3.99 now 0.00

    total 6.21
boots coupon £1(accidently put through a KOS one as I was searching for my 200 extra points, but SA just put it through anyway!)

so paid £5.21 earning a hairy and 224 points

off I went to the smaller branch in my town, they didn't seem to have much but got some huggies natural fit sz 4 as they where reduced to £2.99 and huggies pull ups in medium reduced to £2.49, also 3xTS deep intense conditioning treatment that had been reduced to £2.40 to get with my 3 hairies, anyone the nappies went through at £1.50, but sz 4 is a bit small for DD so I asked SA to check sz 4+ and 5, they where £1.50 also, so got what was left on the shelf, 4 packets of each and put the sz 4 back for someone else, also the pull ups went through at full price, so she had to manually put it in, also got a few baby juices at 14p each, receipt as follows

    4 X huggies natural fit sz4+ @1.50 6.00
    4 X huggies natural fit sz5 @1.50 6.00
    huggies girl medium 2.49
    5 X bts orange juice @14p 70p

    3 X TS prf Int Cond @ 2.40 7.20
    3 X haircare vouchers -6.00

    Total 16.39

    4 X Brand coupon 1.00
    2 X Brand coupon 2.00
    Brand coupon 6.00

    Total to pay 2.21

and I earned another hairie and so got another one of the TS Int Cond's for 40p.

SA and the security guard where very impressed :D

I think the smaller branches are getting rid of some of the Huggies stock so maybe worth keeping an eye out, the same nappies had not been recuded at the other 2 stores, but they are larger.

    Hi all,

I've read the last 15 or so pages and am I right in that it's a £2.00 haircare vch at the moment on a £5.00 spend? I've read about the expert glitch too - is that still working then? Anything else I should know about?
    QUOTE]

    Hiya
I did the Expert glitch 3 times today and paid 26p each time!:j
    HTH

    Thanks angel69 :)

Is it right that any expert items work then? As long as the original price (before 1/3 off or other promotion) is over £5.00?

The first 2 times I got the dry scalp shampoo 200ml and a Anti dandruff shampoo for sens scalp 400ml and paid 26p for all three items.

But the last time I tried it with a sensetive toothpaste and the Anti dandruff shampoo for sens scalp 400ml and paid £1.30 for all 3 items.

So I think its just the hair stuff that you can get it so cheap!:T

    HTH
    :A Carpe Diem:A

 WINS = Nothing...I never seem to win anything!:roll eyes:

proud mummy to lil man!! :A

Excellent, thank you :D I love the expert "heat protection" shampoo and conditioner, so will hopefully stock up on those! Fingers crossed the ACM gives me some vchs now!

mimi i really hope that your father gets better

angel 69 the proboard has not allowed me to access it for ages - i pmd liverbird - she did not bother to reply, i tried to re register, it woud not allow to me, i pmd liverbird again - again no reply, seems to me you either fit in or you don't

that seems a very harsh comment for someone you don't know, it was comments like that that had this board threatened with closure before, how do you know liverbird isn't busy with work or looking after children? i do not know liverbird either by the way, but if i started posting, about other posters on this thread i would be slated for it and world war 7 would take place - enough said.

keep an eye on the reduced section for reduced l'oreal revitalift items if they have clearance stickers on - as they are on a 'save' so £5 comes off the price, i found a load marked down to 5-7 pounds on clearance :):)
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there

Had one last Bootsing session after the hospital run with my Dad to try and cheer myself up. Got some horrendous news. The cancer is back, and it has now spread. They said it was quite serious as he has only had has treatment a bit ago. I'm emotionally drained :(:(. So I will not be posting again, until he gets better. So please don't think I have disappeared. Please can everyone pray for him, he has to get better as soon as possible. Please God make him better. Thank you everyone for all their support and kind messages until now. Pray for him please.

sorry to hear about your dad, I lost my dad last year after a long illness, so I know what its like. I hope he gets better for you and your family ((hugs to you))
    I luv freebies

Not sure if this works instore, but definately does on line. Buy the Total Effects handcream for £4.97 and you get the gwp, which contains:

Your Olay Precision Solutions Gift worth over £30

    Your free gift contains:
    • Olay regenerist daily 3 point treatment cream (15ml)
    • Olay regenerist 30 second wrinkle filler (7ml)
    • Olay regenerist eye derma- pods (0.5ml x 4)
    • Olay regenerist daily regenerating cleanser (150ml)
    • Plus your free range guide including a voucher for £5 off regenerist eye derma – pod.
It costs £29.99 for 24 eye derma-pods alone, so you could buy 6 handcreams and get 6 gwps for the same price and get way more for your money.

I couldn't find the GWP today, has it run out now?

I don't know if this has already been posted but all mini mode childrens t-shirts were half price today in my local boots. I find these clothes really good quality and they were only £2 and £3 each. HTH
