Took about 3 Method Kidz 3 in 1 to pay with coupons but 2 my shock the vouchers didn't scan!!! (Was doing separate transactions); I remember some1 (sorry cannot remember who :o) mentioning recently about this... so has Mr B got wise on this?!

That was me this morning. I'm really annoyed that this didn't work, and just my luck i'm betting that it won't work for me at all. I could really do with some gentle shampoo.

Can anyone else shine a light on this situation for us both?

Hi has anyone taken any gift sets back that were on the clearance area reduced to £2 and then gone through at £8 which I didnt noticed till I got home as had so many bargains. Was going to take it back and see if they will give me a gift card for the value.

I took some dusting powder back which had been reduced to £1.70 but went through at £6.80 and had the £5.10 refunded to the card I used to pay with. HTH

It apparently makes your hair blonder....I thought only bleach did that? Can any hairdressers clarify???

Hi Not been on for ages, trying to be good?! So far so good. I think it contains peroxide so be careful if you got damaged hair already wont do it much good hth
  • Who said crime doesn't pay? In today's papers, it's reported that "Andy Hornby, the disgraced former HBOS chief, is set to take on a £1 million plus annual pay package, as head of Boots. He will also be in line for a large slice of the equity in this company".

So I suppose the prices will start to creep up, in order to fund Andy's pay packet!

    xx
To think that they could have had me as head for a tenth of that! rotfl

    Hello everyone,

I'm back at work after 8 months on maternity leave and it is boo! However I'm being very good and cycling every day and then showering at work. Therefore I'm very pleased about a number of the bargains that I've had recently. I managed to buy the Sanctuary Mother to Be (although I'm not) shower oil for about £1.50....it is precisely the sort of thing that I'd never use at home cos of the mess but don't mind using it in the work showers ha ha! I have so many potions and lotions that I'm lathering and slathering on everyday which is making going back to work easier, so I'd like to just say thanks to everyone for writing about their bargains.

My planned shop from earlier worked folks - but I got a bit confuzzled .

I picked up a No7 line lift, the No7 GWP (only the men's black bag one left in this store that I could see) and 2 petal eye pallettes (on the last chance to buy stand with a SEL of £4.65 each). Then I browsed the Sanctuary items (even though its possible I wouldn't have needed one) and picked up a bath soak mini.

Went to the SS tills, and scanned the line lift - fine. Scanned the eye pallettes - they were scanning at £2.33 , so I had to run off back to the No7 stand and pick up 2 more, as my brain could not work out how many I needed to add to the line lift to make a No7 spend of £20 (so the GWP wouldn't beep). So I scan the next 2 eye pallettes, then the No7 GWP. Then the Sanctuary soak. So far, so good. Now I go to use my half price line lift voucher, and it all goes belly-up. SS till asks me to scan my item again?? Then it asks if I want to cancel the transaction, I think, yep, I'll just start again. Oh no, now it needs store approval. Lovely SA comes over, and says she'll have to reboot the SS till, and can she take me over to her till? I'm thinking, this is not going to work, but hey, I've got an arm full of stuff, I'm committed :rotfl:.

So, I give all my stuff to the lovely SA (she's great, she always comments on my bargains :D). She puts everything through, and realises I've bought 5 No7 items, so she orders me back to the No7 stand to buy something else as its on 342. So I rush off again to get yet another eye pallette. Then she takes my half price line lift voucher, then I say "I've got a voucher for the Sanctuary too" (thank goodness I did actually pick up some Sanctuary after all) and she scans it - it takes £8.95 off my total in a beepless transaction :D.

So, after all that, I got a No7 GWP (not the one I went in for right enough), a line lift, 5 eye pallettes, and a Sanctuary mini bath soak, for the grand total of £6.74, and 60 points.

Wish I had another Sanctuary mag voucher now, I could have done it all over again tomorrow lol!
