many thanks OP for the info with the grazia, may just have 2 buy a couple of those!!

It seems though this board has gone quiet, i am a bit busy at the moment so don't have that much time to post but am still around

As for the sniping, yes there does seem to be a bit of it here and on other threads - people will grow up and move on though

i think the killer for this board was the people requesting stuff for baskets/fete's etc that weren't going where they said they were and lining their own pockets, at our expense...

enough said - anyone any bargains?

Wow, boots opticians are fast, went for my eye test thursday and they called me monday morning to tell me my new specs are ready I don't think I've ever had a callback that quick when I went to other opticians!

Only problem is, once I go in on thursday and pay the balance I have no monies to spend until I get paid on Tuesday...seems so cruel to dangle Boots in front of me when I won't be able to buy anything! :rolleyes:

SarahSkint, how I wish I could post a huge list of all the wonderful glitches and bargains I have discovered!

Alas, I am limited to just one. If you use Harmony Industrial Strength Extra Firm Hold Hairspray (!), this is normally priced at something like £1.45, but some branches have this at 71p.

It's more likely that the branches that have the SEL for 71p, do not have any hairspray left, and those that have plenty haven't reduced it. :mad:

But I have managed to track down some cans. Apart from that, I haven't seen anything else to report. At least I'm saving money this month, as I expect we all are!!

i have also heard nothing but good remarks abouts boots opticians i think thats where i will be going next time - erm actually think test is due lol, oh well looks like a trip then!!

thanks sandra for the heads up about the hairspray, totally forgot that one, i did see some reduced sels on mini mark hill stuff, and some john frieda brunette but nothing fantastic lol

I'm a MSE newbie!
I worked for Boots for ages so am well up on the great glitches and deals that can be had... I really miss my discount card these days!
Anyway, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but there are some Ruby & Millie make up bags going for half price. There are also the little zip up eyeshadow and lip stuff compacts at half price too.
I saw this in the big Brighton store so not sure if it's elsewhere. The bags were coming up at less than £5 and the compacts at around £7 if I remember rightly!
Sorry if I'm repeating something everyone knows!!
