For the first time ever the acm gave me decent vouchers! I got Free no7 highlighter, 1/2 price line lift, 50 pts on nail varnish and 300pts on no7 foundation!

Ps Boots Stockport merseyway had a small-ish clearance near the photo kiosk, lots of no7 stuff in pink boxes, some no7 creams, Trevor Sorbie wax sticks were 75p and a few no7 lippies in the most shocking and gross pink colour you have ever seen lol x

  • Sounds like I need to try another machine - though I tried 2 next to each other. Are some stores just rubbish?

I think its just the luck of the draw when I went to my local a few days ago I didn't have any offers, just total spend. I went to the same store yesterday and got Half price line lift and 200pts wyb No7 instant radiance brush foundation.

not doing this trial, but three of our lot have had the same problems, a particularly unpleasant bug doing the rounds at the mo, hope you feel better soon
Thanks . Hope your lot get better soon but I do not think it is a bug as my whole circle of flatmate/friends etc are perfectly ok. We all ate and drank the same thing on Sunday and the only thing that could have made me ill and that differed from their routine was me doing this trial. I stopped taking them after the second one which I was ill 12 hours later and have been recovering since but a lot better since ending the trial.

Hope nobody else has the same issues.

I never seem to get offered any freebies nor any poinrs vouchers for anything I actually use or buy from the machines. :(

    Hi Reverbe
I'm doing this too and I stopped taking it after just one pill.I felt dizzy and lightheaded and was a bit worried to drive.I felt sleepy all day and was annoyed as we had things planned that I wanted to enjoy.
I'm quite cross that Boots didn't warn the testers about causing drowsiness - someone could have a bad accident.

Sorry that you felt so ill, too.Hope you feel better today
Get well soon Freshwater. Sorry to hear that. My Bank Holiday plans were also ruined. It was the anniversary of my 2 married friends meeting at a local annual fayre and we had all planned to go together with their family, my flatmate and I but I was so ill that I had to let them down so they had to make other plans.

what are these tablets called you are trialling? remind me not to buy them if they end up on the shelves :rotfl:
Mrs T if everyone tells them about what they are experiencing then I doubt they would. It appears to be up to the company to take my feedback but boots themselves are rather concerned and I have spoken to a few ppl there today . The marketing company how3ver do not seem that bothered as the girl responsible was on a half hour lunch break 4 hours ago and has not returned my call despite knowing that this product made me violently ill.

I stopped taking the trial after two days, I started throwing up and feeling queasy very shortly after taking the first one :-( not taking the rest!

Only trial I've ever been offered and it made me sick- for tablets that are supposed to ease stress feelings they've certainly stressed me out more! :rotfl:
    Exactly lol

Seriously please do contact Boots and TPOll all ppl who have been affected by this trial. I am due to hear back later as the girl at TPOll have asked a pharmacist form Boots to call me and I will let them know that others have been having issues. Maybe it is something about the combo of ingredients..

Same :( I seem to be the only person without a clearance section in any boots near me too.

    Snipped:
she said that unfortunately the Body Scrub was out of stock and so she was doing some other offers on the range. If you bought a Mela Shower Drench (£5.45) you got a free 50ml Mela Body Butter. If you bought a Bath Nectar (£8.76) you got 3 x 50ml Mela Body Butters free! I went for the 2nd offer as I thought that was a really good deal. She came with me to the tills to let the SA know that the Body Butters were free and she just put them into the bag without scanning them, so I don't know what they would sell for. She also gave me 3 of the vouchers to use when the Body Scrub came back into stock. The vouchers are valid 22.5 09 - 8.6.09. The only thing that annoyed me a bit though was when reading the voucher today, it showed the cost of all the new Mela items and the Bath Nectar is shown as £6.95. Don't really know if I want to go back to query it, seeing as I got 3 free body butters, but nearly £2 extra is a bit cheeky don't you think? Maybe it was a typo .. I hope so!

If it was me, I'd go back clutching my receipt and the leaflet and ask for a £2 refund. But maybe I'm just mean!
