i use several catalogues and needed to return some pants at £45 before christmas - i have 2 different couriers - one of them delivers/returns for about 4 different catalogues - this courier took my parcel and gave me a returns slip, but;........
the item hasnt been credited and i am now trying to chase it up - it turns out he did a gus return on an empire returns slip hence, the item has gone astray and noone can find it.....
do i have to pay for the goods or what? the catalogue is being cagey when i ask - what are my rights?
thanks

I would say the company of the courier who took the wrong parcel is liable.write to them explaining, ask for compensation, give them a date by which to respond.I suppose it could be said you did not give that courier permission to take that parcel.did u hand it over in person.keep the original returns slip, send a photocopy to the company.0

You have a returns label so it is not your problem. Photocopy it and send it in. If you are sending GUS / Empire parcels back then I think that the driver should have given you a yellow or white returns reciept. If it was HDNL then try THIS and enter the number on the returns label on the tracking system to see if this will bring anything up.**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? thanks - will try the above - keep you posted...0

If the courier was sent by the catalogue company then you have fulfilled your part by handing it over to the driver - it is down to the catalogue and the courier to sort out where it has gone, just send them a copy of the receipt from the courier and demand they credit your account.0
