Cheap Abergavenny hotel required...

... for the weekend after next. (For 2 adults and a newborn)

Abergavenny hotels aren't generally on the usual hotel websites, and the ones that come up on google are quite expensive.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance

Don't stay at the Angel, very expensive. I only know this as my OH's Credt card was skimmed (at a newport petrol station we think) and the bill from the Angel was huge!

You didn't give any clue as to how far out/or not you could be, or what you think is expensive.

I think this is expensive at £85 for a double, but maybe that's half the others: The Kings Arms, St. John's Square, Abergavenny, NP7 5AA

Or at £90 for a double the Black Lion Guest House, 43 Hereford Road, Abergavenny, NP7 5PY

Or a few miles out, at £60 is the Brynhonddu Country House B&B, Pandy, Abergavenny, NP7 7PD

Fair point - £85 is expensive in my opinion too.

I need to be as central as possible, and have found some at £65. The cheapest I've found is the Park Guest House at £55 (any opinions of this one would be very welcome!), but was hoping someone could beat that price?!

    Thanks
