last night i checked my current account online and noticed two cashpoint withdrawals that neither me or OH has had, there was a £30 on the 2nd may and £40 on the 3rd, they were taken from an atm that charges for use, we never use these as we don't believe in paying to take out our own money, i rang lloydstsb straight away and explained about it, i also cancelled both our cards, now i've got to go into my branch and fill in a dispute form, we can't understand why they only took £30 & £40 and not any more
i'm hoping to get this money back, has this happened to anyone else on here, and did you get you're money back
wins so far:- absolutely nothing, not even an arguement:mad:

This happened to a friend and eventually they checked the cctv that overlooked the cash point within the shopping centre, and I'm sure they did get their money back in the end.
Horrible thing to happen - hope you manage to get it sorted out ok0 -
£30 or £40 might be low enough not to trigger your banks fraud system - or they might have hoped it would be low enough for you not to spot.
Your card must have been skimmed with a pin reader too - thought most cash points in UK now used chip and pin though - so surprised they managed to copy your card and use it in the UK.
As long as you can demonstrate that it couldn't be you that made the withdrawals and that you haven't been negligent giving your card details to anyone else you should get your money refunded in full.
Good luck
