Magic eye & sky plus

I have a Sky+ box downstairs and a normal Sky box upstairs. Can I use a Magix Eye to send programmes which have been recorded on the Sky+ box from downstairs to upstairs?

Any advice appreciated.

Yes you can. It works via the RF2 output on your Sky+ Box.
You need to run a coax cable from the RF2 output up to the RF input on the remote TV.
You will need a Sky+ remote to control the functions though, as your standard control won't work.
The Magic eyes come with full instructions as you need to enable the RF2 output via the installation menu.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Is there a way of doing this wirelessly though?? It's a long way between the two tv's to run a cable.

Yes you could buy an AV sender, however IMHO they would not be as reliable as a cabled connection, especially if there are brick walls between the sender and receiver.
I've not had any good experience with AV senders so can't recommend one over another.

No brick walls, just floorboards and a lot of insulation!

Might keep an eye out on QVC as if I got one from there I could try it for 30 days and see how it works.
