What is my next move? I ordered two fishing reels for my son to be delivered to his home address off a web site ( Madaboutfishing ). It's been almost a month now and no show, i rang them and spoke to someone who said he would find out where they are and get back to me, nothing.
I have e mailed the contact address a couple of times still nothing, where do i go from here?

Hi Rigger_John
Thanks for the quick reply, i paid using PayPal ( via my debit card ) on the 20th April and the payment was taken, in total it was just under £70.00.

Unfortunaltly, for you, had you paid with a credit card, you would have been able to claim from them, even then the purchase has to be for an item of £100 or more.
I think your only recourse now is to raise the issue with paypal although from what I've read their 'guarantee' isn't worth much.
However if you paid for them on the 20th of April, it's only been 16 days, do they specify a delivery time?LBM 26th April 2009 Debts at LBM £7777.49:eek:

Paypal have been pretty good when I have raised a claim for Item Not Received.
Raise a claim and the sender must prove to Paypal that they have sent the item, if they don't then you win the case and your money is returned.0 -
I think your best bet would be, as said above, raise the claim with paypal, and let paypal know that you have tried on several occasions to contact the seller of the items x2012 Wins - Danepak Fridge Magnet, £20 Just Eat Voucher, iTunes Song Download, Yellow Toaster and Kettle, Thorntons Bunny, 6 Months Gym Membership, £250 Multipower Products, 3 X Dalepak Vouchers, 10 minute sunbed session, Lucozade Sport, 2 X BMI Flights, Android Zeemote,0

Hi,
3 to 5 days max delivery time, i was told the items were dispatched the same day 20th April, so me thinks allowing 10 days and still no show start making contact with seller hence my problem.
I'm going to try Pay Pal and see what luck i have, will let you know the outcome.

Hello all,
Submitted my case to PayPal and within 12 hours had a contact from seller admitting he had not sent them out because he did not have them in stock.
They are in stock now and will be dispatched today ( Thursday ) expected Sat-Monday next week, if and when they turn up i'll let you know, so i would say it's worth while getting PayPal involved.

Don't close the Paypal dispute until you have taken delivery.
The seller has already lied to you , claiming they were sent on the 20th .
He could be lying again by promising delivery by Saturday or Monday , what postal/ courier service has he used as a normal 48 hour delivery will not turn up on weekends , once you close the dispute I believe it cannot be re opened .
You should have asked for free next day delivery as a sweetener for the problems you've had.0
