I did a job on Monday for RE. The reimbursement was £10.00. You had to buy the product you enquired about in the store.

Now, I searched the company website before visiting in order to find a product with a value near £10 (to maximise my benefit!!):p. When I went to the store, I enquired about this product but the assistant kept saying that a cheaper product on a nearby shelf would be better..... I kept returning to the more expensive product but he was so insistent that it was more effective AND cheaper that, in the end, I had to buy it or look like some kind of moron:rotfl:. It cost me £5.35. Feeling hard done by, I picked up a couple of small items to boost my spend to £8.50.......

Question is, has anyone done this and, if so, did they get reimbursed for the whole spend - as long as it didn't exceed the reimbursement limit - or just the product they had enquired about? I guess I will find out in good time when my payment is no longer 'pending' but just sitting here wondering what your experience is.....

On the alerts thread it says toy shops and sandwiches on RE, but I can't see any. Can anyone see any up North?

I've done two MCE haircut assignments and been very impressed both times. I keep getting offered these assignments for some reason and I love doing them but I have to say no, my hair just doesn't grow that fast!

I haven't got a clue why some people don't get offered them but they always seem to be available in the Surrey area when I live.

Also in Surrey. The MCE haircut job was the first that I was offered. I only ever see haircut jobs, and lots of them!

I have a shop booked with RE, but don't know the code/lingo for the shop. Sandwich, reasonably fancy I guess. The assignment info sheet says nothing about whether or not I need to go alone. Any ideas?

yes, that was the store! Great news - wish I had squeezed that extra £1.50 out of them now.... must admit was like some kind of farce with me banging on about the great qualities of the expensive product and him keep thrusting the cheaper one into my hand....

    Thanks Mum2six!
