Hi peeps
quick query....want to take a burger job and the times are 8 -10 am. Does that mean I have to complete job and be out of venue by 10am or just have ordered by 10am so time shows on receipt??
(reason is I cant get there till about 9.50am!)

I would think as long as you have paid and been served by 10am it doesnt matter how long you are in there afterwards

Hi Guys,

Just after a bit of help/advice.

I've just had a pizza assignment declined with gap because I ordered a side order and main together instead of having them seperately.
The assignment notes didn't state to have the side order as a starter.
I've done jobs in the past and had both the side and main at the same time with no problems.
I have emailed them to query it but not had a reply as yet.

Just wondering if anyone else had assignments declined because of this?

Hi felix

Sorry to hear about that , did it say in the questionaire about timing for the drinks, starters, etc? I think that might be where they are coming from as they want to measure service times for each of these 'servings' Must be frustrating though when youve done it that way before and not been penalised....

Oh dear, I have one of these booked for tomorrow and was going to do the same. It does say "side order", which doesn't necessarily mean "starter", but something you would have "at the side" of your main course, i.e. at the same time.

I've always done it as a "side order" not a "starter" and never had problems before.

Sorry I can't be of more help Will let you know how I get one with my visit/report, though!

I did one of these and it's not a lot of work. When I gave the MOS the letter for the audit she didn't bother reading it so didn't know I'd MS'd her. It's handy doing the audit because you can do any MS observations at the same time.

ive just done 1 of these too and I had my side with my main too. A side order is just as it says -a side- ie to have as a side to your main course!!
I hope I dont get declined cos I wouldnt have gone otherwise! :mad:

I think it might also be something to do with the fact I complained because they brought the side out with the wrong dips and before my pizza was ready.:eek:
I'll see what they say if they reply to me. In future I might just have a pudding instead !!!!
