I had the same problem called my bank (Bank of Scotland) they wont charge unless it is a substantial amount........no problem there then i guess.... you can always do Paypal but am sure they charge if you are withdrawing below a certain amount aswell. ;)

im now hoping maybe i dont get charged with natwest now as they are "linked" to RBOS from what i could gather from an online search the other night (different reasons). I bank with nationwide too so if they are free i might get it paid to them and then transfer as i want all my MS money in the one bank so its easier to track.

I can't see anything on GR either.

Monkey, when you say 'dire fee' - is it lower than the usual fee for this shop?

I assumed by *green* he was referring to the supermarket that has a green logo.

Receiving international transfers is apparently free with Nationwide too, or so they said. I'm hoping so, since that's where I hope to get paid next month!
Edit: Don't bank with HSBC, they charge a fortune to accept foreign transfers!

Thanks for that info :T, I was hoping it would be free with them. Mind you, they are brilliant all round really with anything foreign!

Same fee, but seeing as six interactions with staff are required it is very very poor. Ought to be at least double in my opinion.

My first or second MS job was this place 3 or so months ago, and I'll not be doing it again. Trying to remember six names and descriptions was enough, without remember what they said to me!

They're not quite so brilliant at sending money abroad, unfortunately! But for receiving, yes, and for spending on debit card, definitely :)
