Actually the credit card company lose nothing. They are never liable for cardholder not present fraud. Liability for the loss always falls on the merchant who took the payment and provided the goods. In this case I'm not clear if that would be Nochex or the person who provided the goods paid for with Nocheck but either way the credit card company don't care because they haven't lost anything.
