PSI Tuning fixed one problem and caused another

I need a bit if advice. I have an Audi A6 which I have always had serviced at PSI Tuning in Stoke. They were recommended to me and previously I had always been happy with their work. I have recommended them to many other people.
Today I took my car in to get the brakes repaired. When I picked it up, the traction control warning light was on. I reported this instantly and was told that the light was on when I took the car in. I ALWAYS get these things fixed as soon as they appear so I KNOW that the light was not on when I dropped the car. Someone has trashed something and now they are trying to blame it on me. I'm seriously annoyed about it.
Does anyone know what my rights are or what action I can take to get this fixed? I was told to call them tomorrow as they all scarpered for home tonight so I hope they can make the situation right then. I will report the results here though I am not optimistic.

I'm surprised to get no reply about this - people are usually very helpful here. Anyway, here is what happened for info for anyone with the same problem.
I contacted trading standards. They told me to contact Consumer Direct. I did this. The lady I spoke to was very helpful. She told me to first check with an independent mechanic to see if the garage could have caused this problem. I checked with the Audi dealer where I bought the car and they confirmed that the garage were prime suspects. CD said to go back to the garage and state that in my opinion they had breached the sale of goods and services act. This says it is their responsibility to carry out a repair with due skill and diligence. It was my opinion that they hadn't done that. I had an appointment at the garage tolet them take another look since they couldn't figure out what the original fault code meant. Before letting them get hold of it, I had it booked at Audi for a diagnostic scan to find out what the real story was. The original garage was saying that although the fault was showing in the traction control system, it could in fact be coming from elsewhere. I don't know whether this is true or not, but the fact is that they had "fixed" the braking system and it is the ABS sensors that drive the now broken traction control system. They may be right but I personally don't buy that story. Anyway, luckily the problem cleared itself up. The annoying thing from my point of view is that after reporting the problem, they refused to accept responsiblty for it. Anyway, if the problem had continued, the next step would have been to put the complaint in writing and offer them 14 days to reply. The lady at consumer direct said that if that didnt work that I was to contact them again and they would see what they could do to help then. Luckily, it hasn't gone that far. Anyway, I hope this info is useful to someone.0
