Complete reboot

Hey All,

I keep getting fat 32 errors that i think are caused by a split hard drive on my XP lap top.

So im going to do a full re-install - i did one about 6 months ago but somehow ended up holding the partition so the problem still occurs.

Is there anything i really shouldt do?

Also, im transferring my coursework, itunes, ds games and photos onto my usb stick, anything else i need to copy over?

Thanks

Puzzled x

    Partitioning won't cause a fat32 error.

Oh, um, i was told that might have contributed to it becasue after i did the re-install the partition remained, my work colleauge thought a reboot that removed the partition would fix it, is that not right?

    thanks

So it won't boot at all? How old is the disk?

If you have the xp disk, you can boot from it, go into recovery console, and run chkdsk
