Turbo Sim card

Any one ever used one of the above sim cards to work in a locked phone.

I have a Nokia N95 currently locked to O2. My local mobile shop want £35 to unlock it.

These sims are going for £5-10 on flea bay. Any one know if they are worth the price.

Yep, they are definately worth £5. Its amasing how something so small can unlock a phone, but the problem is they are fragile and are touch and go sometimes.

The problem with the new Nokia's is they have a new security feature called 'BB5' and need specialist equipment to unlock them. I got my BB5 Nokia unlocked 'while u wait' at our local car boot for £6 so its def. worth shopping around for the unlocking service- go to your local market, look out at your local car boot etc. Anywhere that sells lots of mobile covers and accessories should do unlocking.

If you need it unlocked now, then, yes, buy a turbosim, but if you can wait, get it properly unlocked. HTH...

Cheers for that. All my local mobile shops said they could'nt do the unlock. Had to go to the big city, well Salisbury anyhow.

I'll look for a carboot etc. No hurry at the moment as its a spare.
