We have this type of furniture and my tv cabinet has previously had things spilt down the front, I think it was milk and also my cat (now confined to one area), has been spraying around the house for quite some time.
No matter how much I try and clean it (with a normal duster and polish), the "run marks" come back, it's all over the front doors of the cabinet. When the polish has evaporated it looks just as bad. We have wax for the furniture, but you can always see these marks.
Is there anything I can use to restore it?
Thanks in advance.

Whatever you spilled on it must have taken the finish off the wood, so you may never get rid of the mark. You may find that a light sanding with fine sandpaper will help; rub the whole area gently in the direction of the grain, wipe clean then oil or wax it. Make sure you sand the entire panel or you'll just make a small problem bigger.0

Not sure if you have sorted the problem yet? the easiest way to take the marks out if you do not want the hassle of sanding the panel is to get a fine grade wire wool dip it in the wax and then gently with the grain of the wood rub the wax in most waxes do have a spirit in so it should take the marks straight of0
