best alternative to paypal (not including nochex)?

i am a high-volume seller on the bay & want to accept credit/debit cards (inc worldwide buyers)

i dont do paypal. what are the alternative merchant accounts apart from nochex? i am particually looking for something that has an intergrated checkout feature like for example 'worldpay'

You may have to bite the bullet and go for something like Worldpay. This can be expensive though - you'll have to weigh up the pros and cons against Paypal. Remember that accepting credit cards means you can get chargebacks although admittedly Paypal makes it easier for unscrupulous buyers to do that.
A "proper" merchant account may help but may lack the checkout you need.

since worldplay is owned by a bank (royal bank of scotland) you might wana try another bank like barclays. Also i would try out nochex seems they have just recently updated there site which was long overdue.

I,m considering doing this myself in the near future. Guess i may go with a cc processor and include paypal as an option ( cancelling large orders if not verified).

ps: paypal does have a checkout facility
