Unoccupied Property - Contents Insurance

Where else to turn to when stuck! My husband and I are about to purchase a flat in Scotland. We currently live in England. Since our Grandchild was born we are going up every approx 6 weeks. Does anyone know who or where I can obtain just contents insurance for this flat. The buildings insurance is covered under the communal charge/factors fee. Any assistance appreciated.
Thanks:money:

Have you asked your current contents Insurers if they will offer cover, they quite often will subject to certain conditions

my house is shared ownership so the buildings insurance is covered by the housing association. I got my contents only, with accidental damage, with Norwich Union. I went through Quido and got £60 an £87 policy so it cost £27 for the year.

You may need a specialist holiday home policy, so try googleing for that.

The following appear offer unlimited unoccupancy (from an independent source, but might need updating):
Brit insurance Homecover Insuarnce and Homecover plus - though a broker only
Britannia Building Society - Home Builder Gold, Silver, Bronze - availible direct but appear to be for people building a home?
    Click4Quote (never heard of them!)

The following do 90 days, but all are only though a broker:
    Millennium Insurance
    Saffron Insurance Services Ltd

There are then quite a few who do 60 days, ranging from Hiscox to Direct Line...
