I'm not sure but if you want en suite facilities, double check that you are getting them. Excellent location for Picadilly circus.

You're mixing it up with the Regent Palace, which is on Picadilly Circus and has rooms without ensuite facilities. My daughter stayed there on a school trip recently and said it was horrible.
The Strand Palace is on the Strand and is supposed to be pretty good. My parents stayed there a year ago and spoke well of it.

I used to work on The Strand and have had a few lunches and a couple of conferences at the Strand Palace. It's alright, but I wouldn't rave about it.

The location's great, especially for the theatres etc, but I always found inside a bit dingy (this was going back four years or so though).

I used to walk past it every day .... it doesn't look majorly inviting from outside ... slightly dated frontage. Might be fine inside though!!

have stayed there for work. Quite dingy but if all you are after is a bed and you plan to be out the rest of the time, then it's ok. Otherwise I would look at Premier Inns/Travelodge to be honest. There's a great one in the former GLC building on the embankment. Good rate and cool location.
