RECLAIMING CHARGES FROM HALIFAX... can anyone help...

I am helping my sister sort out her finances, and we downloaded the letter to start reclaiming her HUGE amounts of bank charges back from the bank. We made an appointment to see the bank manager... but I presume as they had recieved the letter they had sent the account to collections, and are MORE than Eager to close the account...
My question is: If we pay the outstanding amount of her balance and they close the account will she still be able to claime back these bank charges?
Please help as they are charging 2.2 apr per day!

Bank managers in branches have no authority on Hardship claims/bank charges that are not OFT test case related. The answer is yes to your question by the way.Skint-Rachael wrote: »I am helping my sister sort out her finances, and we downloaded the letter to start reclaiming her HUGE amounts of bank charges back from the bank.
