capital one account - due for renewal

hey all - first time poster here so please be gentle. I took out a capital one visa card to build up my credit rating back in May 2007, subsequently lost my job and struggled for apx 9 months but am now earning a reasonable wage and trying wherever possible to pay off apx £150pw on the card, however I don't seem to be getting anywhere as I keep spending on it as well :(

but now my card is up for renewal i am concerned as to whether or not they will let me continue to use the card or whether they will say that I have not managed my account well enough

as anyone else been in the same boat? what was the outcome?

Have you been over limit and missed payments? If not, you are their perfect customer, always keeping a balance on there and spending more, all earning them lovely profits. Do let us know how you get on.
Got Halifax Classic to reduce my interest rate by 5% woohoo - 10/06/08 Thanks MSE!
    Another 3% shaved off 10/12/08
    ANOTHER 4 % June 09:beer:

    ***update***

I rang capital one last night as I still haven't recieved my replacement card yet and was starting to get nervous as we are now mid-way through the month, the CCR was very helpful and explained that it is an automated process and I should recieve the card by the last day of the month, luckily I only have one regular payment set on the card (lovefilm) so am going to move that to my other card and then it is not quite so urgent (as their payment is due apx 4th/5th of each month)

Thanks for all your help people :)
