grundig video remote - missing

I have a Grundig Video recorder - its about 5 years old - model gv9110. I have lost the remote (well I haven't, my daughter has) and when I switch it on it wants the PIN entering. Does anyone have a remote I can borrow? Or does anyone know how I can work around the system? Any advice would be very gratefully received.
