Looking to switch

But no idea who to.

Long story made short is my ex partner changed my Npower accounts over to Scottish Power without my knowledge until I got the bills today.

Anyway I am on a pre pay meter for both gas and electric and prefer it this way.

I spen roughly £15 a month on gas and about £40 on electric.

Any advice?

Cheers

Ebico will very probably be best for gas.
  • check switching sites, if anything go for dual fuel as you do tend to benefit from more discounts. web saver 2 from british gas is a good tariff prob one of the cheapest at the moment, definitely worth a look at. use the website energyhelpline.com. i found that was a very useful site

I concur with Cardew regarding your gas but leccy is worth investigating further. To get 'proper' figures from the switching sites you really need actual yearly usage figures in kwhs and not just how much you pay per month, though.

Bad advice IMO. Websaver2 tariff is optimised to look very cheap on the average consumption of 20,500 kwhs, the OP's gas consumption will be way below that. Ebico will most definitely wazz all over it at the OPs consumption levels. Even more so for people like the OP who pay by pre-pay meter. IMO ;)
