Need a CC for Partner

in Credit cards
Partner has come to the end of her interest free deal with Halifax and I am looking at getting her a long balance transfer deal wherby she doesn't she pays off the outstanding balance with a DD of £100 a month.
Does anyone know of the best card at the moment. I know Virgin is good as I have one, but they don't have the opinin to pay off a specified amount a month just the full balance or the minimum payment.
The missus is not brilliant with things like this so would like to set a DD up for £100.
Aldo, do these cards pull the same trick as Virgin whereby if you purchase anything withing the 0% purchases period as soon as that is finished your liable for interest on the balance transfers as well?
I have looked into the MBNA cards and they look pretty hot, anyone had good/bad experiences with them?

You can always set up a DD to pay the minimum and then set up a SO to top it up to £100.0

I agree. To maximise the 0% period, 16 months is currently available to new customers from Virgin. There's a 2.98% handling charge for BTs, as you know.

Alternatively, she would get 14 months from Tesco. A 2.9% BT fee applies.

You haven't got the underlying reasoning quite right, but the essential thing is to keep balance transfers and purchases on separate credit cards. That way, she won't go farDo these cards pull the same trick as Virgin whereby if you purchase anything within the 0% purchases period, as soon as that is finished your liable for interest on the balance transfers as well?
