how long approximately does it take for dell to deliver a PC from the moment i place the order?

Depends what it is.
I've had standard laptops delivered in 2/3 days.
For not stock-pcs ie dell options added, it may take a couple of weeks.
Probablt depends where you are and what courier Dell use as well.

Two weeks tops, and I've ordered LOTS.
Averages 3-4 days for a laptop, a week for a stand pc package.

Yep, I'm the same as Chunter. I ordered a PC and it took 7 days.

The longest I have waited for a Dell PC is 6 days and I always add bits to them.

I placed my order on the Sunday, they phoned me on the Monday and it was delivered on the Thursday.

I agree, the delivery is pretty quick but if you have problems, it's a nightmare dealing with CS. On the whole, I am happy with the goods but very unhappy with CS. I only got my spare part after I wrote an official letter to head office. My letter was not acknowledged but was surprised to see the spare part delivered with an apology note so quick after I sent the letter.
