First of all thanks again to D&DD, tine, toontastic and Reya!!

My insurence is TPFT, 1yr bonus will be march next yr! and with Unison i would be only paying £45 per month so that will save me £60 more to put towards my consolidation. How do i change my insurence company? do i tell them that i have got insurence with TESCO and i want to move?

About my Online course, it's an additional qulification so that i can apply for diefferent range of job. It doesn't actually relates with my employer. I will only have to pay the online fee 6 more months then im qualified :- ) so .....

With all of your advices i think i will be able to build up a preety good base for my future- thanks to all once again

No problem at all I try and help where I can which isn't often as much as others on here, they are all debt heros :)

Anyway I've just thought of something. After your first year with Tesco not only will they cut the amount you pay they will also offer you an extra year no claim discount. Obvisiouly you don't get that straight away but it means in year 3 of getting insurance you will have 3 years NCD instead of just 2. If at all possible see if you can get someone over 25 with no convictions or claims on your policy as that often brings your insurance down as well because they assume your driving the car less.

If you can get a cheaper car with smaller engine though this will safe you a small fortune with them and it will be instant as it doesn't matter if you have been with them for 12 months or not to change the car on the policy.

Also when you are working out your insurance make sure you don't put your mileage over what you do as this can really put you cover up.

Ive just realised you said your 1 NCD will come march next year. Does that mean you have just signed up your insurance ? If so you have 14 days to cancel if you want.

On ebay. See the ebay forum for details & advice.
I wouldn't sell the PS2, you wont get that much for it & at least you have a cheap hobby/entertainmnt as long as you dont spend all your cash on games ( again ebay if you must buy at some point)

Good Luck & I feel you are going to have a long, happy debt free life ahead of you as you have seen the light so early.

Sorry take my apologies, i checked my insurence expiary date again , it's 23rd november this year. Sorry about my wrong info. That means i have got 8 more months to pay £105 pounds, then i can have 1 yr no claim discount and insurence from UNISON for £439.00 a yr !

Toontastic, do you think sticking with TESCO at the moment is a good idea for now? and unfortunately i haven't got any relatives who i could have a shared insurence with ! :-(

Yes definitely EBAY for DVD's - check out how much they are going for on there before pricing yours up. If you are new to EBAY I am sure you will get loads of advice on how to maximise your sales via people on this Money Saving Forum.

I echo what somebody else said...if you are tackling this now at 21, you should be doing great soon.

GOOD LUCK, you *will* do this!

If you can get Insurance with UNISON for £439.00 a year then I doubt Tesco will beat that but when the time comes then all you can do is ask them to beat it and see what they say. I wouldn't bother cancelling your insurance at the minute I doubt you can get it any cheaper and you'd have to pay far bit back. My only suggestion would be to go for a smaller engine car and when you tell Tesco you might find your insurance goes down. In fact chances are it will but check with them before you sell and buy a new car obviously.

Thanks for your advice! I will check on that too.

Do you think is it a good idea if i go to Llyods TSB and talk to them about my Debts, tell them i have missed all the repayments but from now on i will repay back regularly... will they be able to sort something out for me?

Main question is shall i trust the bank or shall i ignore it and go with Payplan or CCCS ?
