premium for insurance no payout

i was made redundant recently and my insurance co wouldnt pay out - i waited the correct lenth off time before claimimg but was in paid employment by 2x weeks later - i received no payout because i was not unemployed long enough - do i have any rights to claim my premiums back

    Look at the terms and conditions of your agreement. Its possible that the only paid out after 1 month or 3 months, you will have to check.

    What was the correct time before you claimed. You said you were only out of work for 2 weeks.


    You wont be able to reclaim payments. If you stop payments you will not be covered for losing your present job.
    Like I say, check your T & Cs
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

    None at all.

    Its a bit like saying you nearly died but you didnt so the life assurance didnt pay out. So, can I have my money back. You paid to cover yourself for an event which hasnt yet happened. The insurer are providing a service you asked for. You just havent had to call on it yet and hopefully never will.
