I used to spend thousands, I have it under control now, I still buy a lot but get it mostly second hand!
  • Charity shops are a great place to find clothes on the cheap. I know people have this thing about being "in season", but you don't need to go buying new clothes every month. Really!

At the minute, hardly anything! I bought some clothes in January, totalling about £40, with gift vouchers. Then haven't bought any till the other day, which was about £12 (2 Primark tops). When I was at uni I spent about £30, sometimes more a month! Then again I has student loan and wages!

I put away £60 a month, to cover two adults. Both of us are loathed to touch it though and most of our 'casual' clothes would be turned down by the shabbiest scarecrow!
