I'm running Vista and I wanted to install MSN Money but amazingly they don't do a version compatible with Vista. Is there any good/suitable money management software compatible with Vista?

Tried Gnu Cash (free)? There is a Windows version. Presume it works on Vista.

It does work with Vista. Just install it and when it runs it downloads an update. It will say there is a compatiability problem but just ignore it. I´ve been using it since Vista came out.

Which version have you installed, I also get the impression it's for the USA only, do they include British banks etc.?

  • Microsoft Money is no longer made for any market outside America (and I think it's been disbanded there too.) Money 2005 was the last version for the UK market. If you use the US version, you won't be able to download updates from your bank.

Sorry for the delay in replying. I'm running 2005 as well. It has the British banks on.

PS. I'm now running it in Windows 7
