Gas Central Heating

Hi,

I'm in the process of buying a house in Portsmouth. It is a traditional 2 up 2 down, but it has no heating. I want to install gas central heating off a combi boiler. There is a gas supply up to the outside of the property.

I'm ringing round for various quotes but would be interested in getting a feel for what this should cost. There don't appear to be any surprises to the job - ie all wooden floors, space on an external rear wall for a boiler. I need a mid range boiler, 4 rads downstairs and 2 upstairs.

Do I need to replace my shower as well or can it be run off a combi? It is currenly fed off a tank with and emmersion heater.

Many thanks for any advice

£2000/£2500 would be fair with a decent boiler. Your dont need a new shower.

Good morning: A RGI, recommended to you by source you trust, would be best placed to advise you, after conducting a site survey....in other words, too many variables and not enough info to advise. More on showers here

When you get quotes in, post them on here and those' in the know' could comment
