Actually I've just had a closer look at this link, and this works out at less than £0.50 each including delivery (I didn't realise they were multipacks before) - that's so cheap! And it would save me a trip into town :D

I can't help but feel a bit guilty towards my as-yet-non-existent-child for skimping. Although if they are as reliable as the expensive ones it shouldn't matter. I felt the same about shopping around for vets fees for my cat. Silly, I know...

  • Go to the friendly G.P. hon. the test is free!
What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always receive lots
  • See if you can sign up to a fertility study. I've done 2 - an Oxford university one and also a Unipath one - finally just got pregnant!!! They give you a free monitor to use while on the stufy (costs £100 in the shops), wee on a stick OPKs and pregancy tests. All free and helpful to have (although you have to give the monitor back if you get pregnant or come to the end of the six month study). Oooh and there are no risks - no medications etc that you ahev to take (unlike other recent 'studies' in the media).

but booking an appointment and taking time off work can be too much hassle for some.
you can get them quite cheap from https://www.medisave.co.uk

they do free next day delivery and the prices are good.
  • Gem - found out about them on pregnancy/fertility forums. One had now finished, but not sure if the other is still going. PM me if you're interested and I can email the contact info from my contact lady at Unipath.
