Me again, concert next week. My new concern is how to get back from hampden as quick as possible so we can actually get to go out afters. Any suggestions, I can only imagine it will take forever with all that people.

Also any good areas within metro area for vintage/charity shops.

The best vintage charity shops are around Byres Road, get off the subway at Hillhead and have a wander about. The lane opposite that has Starry Starry night which is one of the best. Ashton Lane is just behind Hillhead station - great for drinks and something to eat.

Getting back from Hamden, you would be best getting the train from Kings Park Station that will take you into Glasgow Central.

For a good night out, food & drinks (but better book) with no trouble, I recommend Tiger Tiger in Glassford Street, near George Square. For late night go to Oran Mhor at the top of Byres Road, only about a mile from Jury's Hotel, open very late. :cool:
