Confused about Freesat

Hi Guys,
I'm considering installing freesat and have a few queries I'd be grateful if anyone could help me with.
I already have a sky dish which I've never actually used as it was on the house when I moved in. Does this mean I simply need to pay for the freesat box (£50 for the non HD version and £100 for the HD version)? If so is it then easy to install everything and connect the dish?
Is it worth paying the extra £50 for the HD version? Basically I'm wondering if there are only 1 or 2 HD channels you get for the extra £50?
My freeview reception seems to have gone down the pan lately. Will I get the freeview channels on freesat?
I'm thinking of going for this one http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5321564/Trail/searchtext%3EFREESAT.htm
What do you think?
I'm hoping I can simply pop down to my local argos store and have it all up abnd running within an hour or two!!:j

You can use your existing dish as long as it's pointing to 28E ie one of the small eliptical 45cm dishes -- All you have to do is attach the cable from the dish & away you go -- Personally I'd wait until there are more "Free" HD channels before getting a HD box as by then more manufacturers will be making them == Dave0
